Details: This advert was featured in a 1949 issue of Picture Post. The image continued to be used in print throughout the early 1950s. The illustration was created by L. R. Clynick, who worked as a designer and art director at the London Press Exchange advertising agency.

The mug itself (complete with nightcap lid) was also produced as a promotional item. It was designed by A.H. ‘Woody’ Woodfull in 1949.
