Carrier Cookshop at Harrods (1967)

Year: 1967

Format: Booklet

Illustrator: Uncredited

Client: Harrod’s/Robert Carrier

Details: This 1967 catalogue was printed by Harrods to promote a range of kitchen equipment from restaurateur, writer and TV chef Robert Carrier. The artwork is uncredited.

The sun motif printed on the cover was used as a decorative design on items in the collection. It also appeared on promotional materials for his restaurant ‘Carrier’s’ in Islington, London.

The image was a long-standing logo for Carrier, featuring later in his cookbooks and a series of ‘Carrier’s Kitchen’ recipe binders produced in the 1980s.
