Details: This 1966 Polish matchbook promotes TEREXPORT. The message reads “Aussenhandelsunternehmen”, which translates as “foreign trade companies”. The artwork is signed ‘A. Zbrożek’, the signature of Polish designer Andrzej Zbrożek (1932-2002).

Zbrożek was a Polish graphic designer and painter born near Warsaw. Educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, he began his career creating children’s illustrations and went on to design advertising, packaging, book covers, and trademarks for major Polish institutions and companies.

He collaborated with leading designers including Karol Śliwka, Tytus Jacek Walczak, and Roman Duszek, with whom he co-created the visual identity of LOT Polish Airlines.
