Details: This 1957 booklet advertises the gin-based drink Pimm’s by promoting the concept of a ‘Pimm’s party’.

In the 1950s, the economy suffered in the aftermath of war, so many people saved money by socialising at home. The idea of a Pimm's party was launched to appeal to this audience and to increase sales of the beverage.

A series of booklets were produced throughout the decade, with some even accompanied by free invitations and coasters.

One of the illustrations is signed in the corner with initals ‘DAB’.
